Methodology Inductively Coupled Plasma/Mass Spectrometry (ICP/MS) 
Description Useful for detection of acute arsenic exposure and for following the effectiveness of therapy. 
Specimen Draw blood in a royal blue-top (EDTA) Monoject® trace element blood collection tube. Send full tube refrigerated in the original VACUTAINER® (GREEN-TOP [HEPARIN] TUBE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE). It is important that the specimen be obtained, processed, and transported according to instructions for "Metals Analysis - Collection and Transport."
