|Description||Immunohistochemical stain for PSA is helpful in identification of metastatic prostatic carcinomas. This can be used in conjunction with antisera to prostatic acid phosphatase, see "Prostatic Acid Phosphatase (PAP), Stain."
NOTE: This test is usually ordered in conjunction with a pathology consultation. The pathology professional component will be billed separately by the consulting pathologist.
