|Description||Inhibin is a polypeptide hormone secreted by granulosa cells of the ovary and sertoli cells of the testis. It is a member of the TGF-B super family and plays a role in the release of FSH from the pituitary. The inhibin antibody is useful in the differential diagnosis of inhibin-positive sex cord stromal tumors versus histologically similar inhibin-negative neoplasms.
