|Test||CYCLIN D-1 IMMUNOHISTOCHEMISTRY STAIN|
|Description||Cyclin D-1 is a key cell cycle regulator that works with specific protein kinases to regulate the entry of cells in S-phase. The proto-oncogene encoding Cyclin D-1 is frequently amplified in a wide range of human malignancies. Mantle cell lymphoma is characterized by the translocation of the bcl-1 gene resulting in over expression of Cyclin D-1. The Cyclin D-1 antibody is useful for distinguishing mantle cell lymphomas (84% positive) from other lymphomas with a similar morphology, which are negative.
