|Description||Useful for monitoring changes in strength of clinically significant RBC antibodies during pregnancy.|
|Specimen||Draw blood in lavender/pink-top (EDTA) tube(s). Send 7.0 mL of EDTA whole blood tubes.
NOTE: Two 7.0 mL tubes whould be submitted for the initial titer sample. Follow-up titer samples only require one 7.0 mL tube.
NOTE: TUBE MUST BE LABELED WITH FULL NAME OF PATIENT (LAST, FIRST [DO NOT USE NICKNAMES]), DATE OF BIRTH AND/OR IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, DATE OF COLLECTION, AND INITIALS OF PERSON DRAWING SPECIMEN.
