|Description||Screens for the presence of buprenorphine in urine by EIA at a cutoff concentration of 5 ng/mL. Negative results are confirmed and quantitated by LC-MS/-MS at an additional charge.
THIS TEST IS INTENDED FOR CLINICAL MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT OF PATIENTS. IT IS NOT INTENDED FOR NON-MEDICAL USE SUCH AS EMPLOYMENT OR FORENSIC TESTING.
Note: Specific gravity, pH, creatinine and oxidants will be performed and reported at no additional charge to identify potential adulteration of the urine specimen.

The presence of buprenporphine at 5 ng/mL or norbuprenorphine at 5 ng/mL is a strong indicator that the patient has used buprenorphine.
