Test Code TXSCR
Test TOXICOLOGY SCREEN, URINE
Methodology Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA)
Cloned Enzyme Donor Immunoassay (CEDIA)
Description Screens for the following drugs/drug classes: amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine metabolite, methadone, methadone metabolite, MDMA (Ecstasy), opiates, oxycodone, phencyclidine (PCP), propoxyphene, tetrahydrocannabinol, (THC) and ethanol. Positive test results are presumptive and are not confirmed. THIS TEST IS INTENDED FOR CLINICAL MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT OF PATIENTS. IT IS NOT INTENDED FOR NON-MEDICAL USE SUCH AS EMPLOYMENT OR FORENSIC TESTING.
Note: Specific gravity, pH, creatinine and oxidants will be performed and reported at no additional charge to identify potential adulteration of the urine specimen.
Specimen 25mL (10.0 mL minimum) from a random urine collection in a non-sterile urine container. Send specimen refrigerated.
