|Test||PAX5, IMMUNOHISTOCHEMISTRY STAIN|
|Description||PAX-5 is a mouse monoclonal antibody validated by NorDx laboratory using formalin fixed embedded tissue. PAX-5 encodes for B-cell specific activator protein (BSAP), a marker for B-cells. PAX-5 is used to distinguish classic Hodgkin's disease from anaplastic large cell lymphoma of T and null cell type. PAX-5 expression is also found on most cases of mature and precursor B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphomas/leukemias and B-lymphoblastic neoplasms and maturation stage.
