|Description||The CD138 antibody recognizes the human CD 138 antigen, a transmembrane heparin sulfate proteoglycan macromolecule also known as syndecan-1. CD138 is a useful marker for labeling normal and neoplastic plasma cells and plasmacytoid lymphomas. Various forms of Hodgkin's disease have also shown positive staining with this antibody.
