|Test||ISOAGGLUTININ TITER, ANTI-B, BLOOD|
|Description||Isoagglutinin production may vary in patients with certain pathologic conditions. Decreased levels of isoagglutinins may be associated with acquired and congenital hypogammaglobulinemia and agammaglobulinemia.|
|Specimen||Draw blood in plain, red-top tube(s). (SERUM GEL TUBE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.) Spin down, separate serum from clot, and send BOTH clot and 5.0 mL (minimum: 2.0 mL) of serum refrigerated in separate vials.
NOTE: Include patient's blood type, age, and diagnosis.
